Where I live is a very miserably place during our histories, but the spookiest place I know is the local cave where the satanist cult used to do there rituals pretty dark vibes. But Colorado has a fuck ton of scary shit, especially the Hispanic parts. Like cudendetas UFOs and ghosties everywhere

Hells Gate/An old Turkey farm near Brighton/Thornton. It is on Riverdale road. Not far from the golf course on the other side of the road. I can not remember if north or south of the golf course.
I was there with friends on Halloween of 89 or 90. Lots of underground tunnels....its a maze. There was an old man care-taker at the time who would,and did,shoot at you.
We went a few times. It is creepy...satanic graffiti,animal bones,strange noises. Plus the crazy old man. I headr a rumor at school that another group had found a door that opened into like large underground garage/warehouse. From there there were elevators and a staircase that went to the large,walled off house up on the hill. I have no idea myself but at the time semi believed it due to those involved.
No idea if the turkey farms still stand or not. I do know that large walled off house on the hill is still there. Heard weird rumors about that place growing up.

I also have seen 3 UFOs here in my life. One in Brighton in the early 80s. Classic silver disk maybe 30-40 feet diameter. It rose out of a cornfield across the street to about 100 feet. Sat there for maybe 30 seconds then headed towards the mountains. This was witness by 12 people including my Father.
The pot zombies are pretty unnerving.
