I'm not the most experienced guy but that's also a reason I'm starting the club.

If you're uni, you'll need:

Other than that, it's all up to you.
Some good basic resources would be like sacred-texts.com or, um, esotericarchives or twilightgrotto or whatever Peterson's domain is these days.

Literature.
Not the "1001 Healing Spells" variety either. A good place to start is paranormal occurrences in the world's most popular book, The Holy Bible.
A more contemporary, but very well researched, book on the occult is Colin Wilson's "Beyond The Occult".
