one of these people acted 20 years ago and the other acted 50 years ago, so the effect of their actions should be apparent by now. what "solution" has been offered? for the most part, i feel like the government flails about with NO solution when something horrible happens because the truth is that you can't prevent all violence and no matter what we do, eventually someone is going to slip through the cracks and do something awful.
