I live in the middle of nowhere, England and it's pitch black outside and there's some fucking animal whose cry sounds like a baby screaming.
It is creeping me the fuck out right now. Anyone know what kind of animal makes that sound? It is an animal right /x/?

I'll try. It's been like 10 minutes since I heard it last though. I've heard it a couple of times before but my house usually has TV or other sound sources right up until we go to sleep, so I have no idea how often they actually occur or if it's likely to happen again tonight.
