Thoughts on John E. Mack? I don't see him discussed here, or haven't in a while, but to me he's one of the few people in the "UFO" phenomenon that is very hard to dismiss.

Still not a shred of hard evidence to back up his claims regardless of what his credentials were (he died a few years back)

Fair enough, but when you say that, do you assume anything about him? That he is delusional? That he is a liar? I understand there is a possibility you haven't assumed anything.

His research into the elementary school class of 30+ kids and a teacher that had encounters of the first and second kind is really interesting. Some had sightings, some had experiments conducted on them.

OP here. What fascinates me most about him is that he became aware of the phenomenon after he'd already been a master in his field. He kept looking into it to disprove it but he actually became convinced, that at the VERY least, these people were all telling him the truth.

Agreed, I believe that Bruce Maccabee followed the same vein as well.

It's funny that people will dismiss this subject and say that there is no hard evidence, when there is countless testimonial evidence (some of which comes from highly credentialed people), but if they were put in a jury they would convict a person on murder charges with far less evidence.

The lie detector tests/eye witness testimony in the Walton case are enough to have put anyone in jail for murder imo. No alien let Travis get off the ship with an ashtray so "lol you're all liars".
