Ultimately all "magic" relies on demonic influence in our plane, the cost of obtaining this power is turning your back on Christ, and ultimately, accepting hell. It can be reversed, however, but by then you will have accepted so many lies you won't even accept the Truth. Long story short magic is real, but all stems from the same source and is only acquired through enslaving oneself to true evil and is only applicable to that which the same evil allows it's usage for.
