Lurking for 5 years now, and this is my first post. I've been interested in Illuminati/Secret Societies recently and I was hoping you guys could help me find some general information.
There is a lot of cringy, bad information out there like the following:
-gold standard/international monetary fund complaints from amateur economists
-reptilians
-moon landing hoaxes
-rap music videos
-interviews with 90th degree masons who are selling a book on their escape from a cult
-youtube slideshows with ominous music
Not that those things aren't important to some people, but I'm really just interested in the history and symbolism of the societies. I don't need terrified predictions about the future, I just want to know things about these group from the past. Do you know of any decent documentaries or sources which can be a starting point for me?
