I have been interested in the modern interpretation of druidry for quit some time. I recently signed up with the New Order if Druids to take their course online through their affiliated Grove of Dana. I like their approach. They arnt an attempted literal reconstruction like some druid organizations claim to be, nor are they hard neonpagan like groups such as Ár nDraíocht Féin. The NOD seems to be more about finding spirituality in nature and myth while using the Druids of old as inspiration.

Also they offer their course free while some other organizations will try and charge such as the OBOD, which is pretty ridiculous.

Has anyone else gone through this druid course or any other? Are there even any other Druids lurking in on /x? If so which branch of the druid tree do you follow? What got you into it?

Also Druid general thread I suppose.

Ár nDraíocht Féin- https://www.adf.org/

If anyone's interested. I was part of ADF for some time but they seemed too Neopagan for me. Others might find them interesting though.

Just a few organizations, each with different interpretations of druidry for those who want to begin the path.

There's also the AODA which is headed by Archdruid John Michael Greer, author of "The Druidry Handbook."

While not a druid myself, I do take interest in it. I just have to get around to reading more about it...

It pretty much sums up to finding spirituality in nature mixed in with celtic lore and myth. Some groups lean more toward one or the other. Their are also "druid" groups which are more like fraternity's rather than a spiritual path.
