Simply put they teach workers since early childhood to not question the narrative, a simplified version of history and they try to push certain agendas (population control, gun control, the evils of isms, ect.). Things to keep them from questioning how the things that control them really work. The elite would then get taught more critical thinking skills, a more in-depth view of history and "why" poor people shouldn't have some rights. Nothing new like you said. The difference between common core and the way it was done in the past is that it's being perfect by science. It's more insidious, more covert as opposed to overt like it was.
