The deep ocean may be one of Earth's greatest mysteries, we know absolutely nothing about something that we are surrounded by. Also perhaps the most famous of cryptids lie in the sea as well as many unsolved cases and phenomenons. You learn that there is more to the paranormal world than skinwalkers and ghosts. Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction.

The bloop was the sound of Cthulhu echoing from R'lyeh
>>
>>17151011
"come on, wanna show ya something"
>>
>>17153948

Cthulhu turns over, cold because his nightmarish blanket has slipped off during his eternal slumber. He shifts, reaching for it, his abominative hand causes multiple earthquakes. Finally he grasps his covering, and does that thing when you roll over while holding the edge of the blanket so you wrap yourself in it. The tides are abnormal this day. The blanket has become cold, spending an unknowable time next to the bed. Stirring, the world waits with baited breath; is this the day he wakes and we end? Cthulhu farts into his blanket burrito, his inner terror becoming his dutch oven. His maw wraps into a smirk.

The bloop was recorded at the same moment.

To me the Atolla jellyfish is the most beautiful yet simultaneously frightening deep sea creature.

Fun Fact: They don't really have any defenses of their own, but they have one clever evolutionary trait. When they're attacked they begin flashing a deep blue color, which will often attract a larger predator to come eat the ones attacking them.

It's basically impossible with our limited atmosphere, giant shit can exist but likely nothing that heavy/dense. something large and gellatenious like a large squid or something is a lot more probable, not trying to rain on your parade but yea, there IS however a ocean which could produce that kind of life, its one of the recent planets (its either HD or Kepler (insert random ass number NASA gives to shit).

Basically they think the ocean extends right down to it's core, and it's in the "habitable" zone.

I don't think its lost media because it was a popular show back then. I just don't remember the name of it.

It was 2006 ish. It had a lot of hype. I THINK there was a scene where this kid had the sea creature in his pool and it grew really huge. I wish I could remember what it was.

All I remember was that and the gigantic sea monster that swallowed a yacht.

I I have to imagine how deep the water would have to be for that whole thing to fit there.
I mean, there's a dock right there, so it would also have to be pretty deep pretty quickly for it to not be noticed enough that people will boat over it.

how much would that thing have to eat to stay that size?
Look at it's fins, and the coils.
Jesus christ it would be terrifying if it were real but the environment of this one kinda kills it for me.
I wish I had never noticed land and assumed this was batshit middle of the ocean will all sort of gigantic fucks for it to eat.

Imagine the dick that thing would have if it did.

Speaking of the "ningen" sea monster, I find this picture to be freakier than all the versions that depict the creature to look like Ripjaws from Ben 10 or something.

This picture right here looks like some sort of freaky claymation thing, walking around crudely and unnaturally in the arctic, hitting borderline uncanny valley because of it moving like a poorly made claymation character.
