Do you just read it with a magnifying glass? I don't get it. This has to bother other people, too. I have two fucking monitors, and I'm sure most have one (or are on a shitty laptop/tablet/phone). I'm not saying you should cater to every format, but it seems like sticking with a standard of something like 760/900 pixels wide would be helpful. Over the years this has really rubbed me the wrong way, and trust me... lots of these regularly sized caps are from me, so don't give me that "oh hurr durr y u no contribute" shit.

I agree with you, some people screencap things way too wide so I have to scroll sideways to read it, even if there aren't multiple columns of posts within the image like the one you posted. I'm on a 13" laptop and moving sideways every new line of the story is really distracting.

What I got from it is that he wasn't even really the kid's grandpa, but an escaped convict who had killed the kid's parents years earlier. Makes the sudden disappearance seem less mysterious, as he had no real ties to the place. Might have just kept the kid alive as part of the cover.
