Source? It's the first video can't find any info. Have not seen this anywhere. It's a girl who appears to have barricaded herself in a room that is monitored by cam.

OP here let me clarify, I would like to know where the original video came from, what's going on, is it real or fake? Supposedly this came from deep web.
>>
>>17136137
Pretty sure it is just more fake bullshit, but who knows for sure. It's fairly old, and I seem to remember there were a few of them. The more you saw of them, the less real it seems, I think.

I'm only here because I'm bored and want to scare myself with some fake deep-web creepy pasta shit, but I remember this, too.

Was a big thing back in the day, lots of people on /x/ liked to follow her and would talk about whether it was "real" or not. Think everyone just kind of moved onto whatever creepy thing got more interesting at the time. Lady was probably just a paranoid schizo.

It was a image that did the same thing the "Araki Donut" photo does

It was 666x666 in size, and around 2 MB which is fucking huge for a picture that's only 666x666 in size

Opening it caused my computer to lockup for about 10-15 seconds, afterwards my web browser froze and crashed, all while my anti-virus was freaking the fuck out telling me that Explorer.exe was a virus, I did a system restore to last week and it fixed it

Don't click on images that don't make sense, like 600x300 images that are 5+ MBs in size, I normally don't make this mistake.
>>
>>17140840
What a dick.
>>
>>17140840
Is there any way I can get my hands on it? What was the actual image and how does it work?
>>
>>17140890

The image was a picture of some weird face with a bunch of lines and a cross on the forehead, it's complicated to explain how it works, but it's possible to inject viruses/malware/spyware into pictures and upload them

I believe 4chan has some kind of anti-virus thing built into their upload system, which is why those kind of pictures get taken down very quickly

There are also GIFs out there that can break your monitor, kill pixels and even short them out, I can't give you a link to them here, but you can find them online on a certain forum.
>>
>>17140911
What forum? Or you can send the links to me on kik or something
>>
>>17140926

Don't have kik, they're really not that hard to find, HOWEVER...follow these tips

>Use a browser addon that disables gifs
>Use a browser addon that blocks scripts
>DO NOT SAVE FILES DIRECTLY TO DRIVE
>Save files to USB drive
>Do not attempt to upload them to IMGUR
>Send pictures directly if possible via Skype

It's like EXIF data, most websites will wipe it once uploaded, so if you want to fuck someone up with this kind of thing, you have to send it directly for the best results.
>>
>>17136137
>http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2oy5kr

those fucking videos were on ebaums world way back in the day, from the deep web my ass.
>>
>>17140951
What should I search for, and thanks by the way anon
>>
>>17140964

Sorry but that's all the advice I'm giving, you can really fuck shit up with these things and I don't want to be the guy responsible for helping someone do something this extreme

All I can really say is this, this shit isn't fun to play around with, you can ruin computers, ruin monitors with the GIFs, cost people some serious money, I had a friend who had his computer hooked up to his 52 inch plasma, opened a gif found in a thread here on /x/ and it fucked up most of the TV, burnt out most of the pixels in the area where the gif was

That kind of shit isn't anything I want something to do with, good luck in your search, I'm out.

stop this bullshit guys i downloaded it to see if there were any hidden messages inside it when opening it as a text file. Nothing ever happended. No virus, no computer freeze, no lockup, no crash just some stupid image, stop giving it so much importance, this meme got old long ago and its getting annoying
>>
>>17140964
here is the image, as you can see most people already downloaded it to edit in photoshop and see if there was any hidden messages, and nothing happened to them >>17137967
>>
I opened this "virus image" from this exact same thread like 6 hours ago and it didnt cause nothing, just a crazy image with a crazy shitty res. Other anons opened it too. So why are people freaking out just now?
>>
Shit guys,

Just because a lot of people are bulshitting it doesn't mean that it is impossible to damage a computer or it's data through an image. And just because an image might do that, it doesn't mean that it will work in every computer.

This is old as fuck. I was first told about it by a gray hat a decade ago. Images can be created in such a way that a buffer overflow can input unwanted shit into your system.

Of course, computers and OSs always change, there's always patches, but then new exploits.

Just because there's stupid morons hyping things they don't know it doesn't mean it is impossible. You guys believe in ghosts and don't believe in "simple" math?

not to get too far off topic but how is this possible?

Probably impossible. But fucking up the computer in less outlandish ways is "easy" in comparison.
