I was playing Witcher 3 and spotted some demonic sigils(not related to the game) during certain cutscenes, like:

Can anyone tell me why would someone place these sigils in the cutscenes?

They are part of Solomonic Magick, which is a part of traditional occultism.
Some witches who aren't Wiccans or something similar tend to study TO.
You see media is full of symbolism and sigils, every time we are viewing stuff we're being attacked and manipulated, its in the movies, games, music, commercials and corporate logos, there's a war going on for our mind, we are already in the world war 3 and its invisible.

They need to texture backgrounds so its not all the same color and have a consistent level of detail, and it's thematically relevant
