Yes, Yes it has been shopped. That analysis kinda shows the dude is shopped in. But that's not what matters. What matters is that the changes in brightness and sharpness aren't going to show up, and that Google image search isn't going to show anything that's been on a 4chan thread that's 404ed, it doesn't a how shit from godlike productions or many other sites that require membership. It doesn't dog that deep, so if you have to go on a main page, click on a link, click on a link, then once more click on a link, the picture may no show up. If you scan it from a book or magazine it may not be anywhere on the internet yet. It you cut just a piece of a larger picture it may not be searchable. And image search sucks. You can use a picture of a person and it will bring up dozens of pictures of people who look like that person but no pictures of that person. So don't trust it.

Here's the truth: that tall man is me. It's a picture we took on a walk, in the mist. She shopped it with phone app, normally used to beautify your pretty selves. She extended my shadow and the hedges to avoid inconsistencies.
I do have shoes, but they're white sneakers so they don't appear well in the image.
The shadow goes the right way because there was a lightpost out of frame. If you look carefully, you'll see that two shadows are cast, both directions.
There are no xmas decorations because people there did it inside their walled communities, not so much on the outside.

But both together? Is this a linear equation or is it something more complicated? We can't just have people going to and fro from areas of small houses surrounded by fields to affluent and well lit streets with naht a field in site. There must be some obstacle. Assuming OP is telling the truth and is not exaggerating the smallness of his house nor the cold and windswept expanse of the fields that surround the hook where he hangs his hat, maybe this tall man, maybe he is the obstacle.
