Hey /x/, I never browse this board, but today I saw something very strange in one of the pictures I took with my friends while hiking. Please help me to yell wether its just a picture glitch or something else.
Looks like mirage or glitch to me.

Just a saturation comparison to estimate distance or where the sampling of the glitch/mirage came from.
I thought it was way too saturated which would make me think it was photoshopped, but I was wrong obviously.
Personally, I don't think it's a mirage but a glitch. The bottom image comparison looks close enough for me to think it sampled some of the top of the hill.
well I mean if you didn't notice it while taking the picture, it's most likely just a glitch

That looks super cool, but if you didn't see anything I bet it's a glitch of some kind. It looks kinda smeared, and it's very close in color to the hills below.
Reminds me of some of the crazy Street View glitches.
Obviously a chinese lantern.
