my grand uncle passed away on the 17th of December and the night before it happened I in the living room alone and I heard a KNOCK on the door, then a knock on the sky light window above me and then my dog started barking like crazy.
I didn't open the door and I wanna know if I should have?
Interesting. I too did the same thing with a death knock. Did not open.
My little Pomeranian went crazy barking at my back door on the night a neighbor died. I opened it and she got quiet and looked but went right back to crazy barking when it was closed. Barked most of the night. She never did this before or after.
I wasn't there when it happened, but I guess my grandpa had a rough death. His lung had collapsed and he'd been battling cancer for years. Anyways, I guess he was hallucinating and yelling for my aunt to answer the door. Weird. Never heard of this before, though. What's the general story behind this?

Is this actually a known hallucination among dying people? Or was I bamboozled into sharing a not so flattering portrait of a family member?
