So after I find out where the giant is hiding out I start pouring a gasoline trail up to the propane tank and I let the propane valve out just enough that it will explode when the gasoline lights underneath it. Then I hide behind a bush and start playing my guitar loud enough for the giant to hear. He will naturally want to come be friends with whatever studmeister is playing such an awesome jam and start walking towards me.
That's when I pull out my amphetamines and gobble them down just in case this plan doesn't work and I have to run for it. I light the gasoline trail once the giant is nearing the propane tank and blow his leg off. He should bleed out and die after that.
If I mess up I run with my amphetamine speed to the nearest highway and use my cellphone to call for someone to come pick me up and save me. Or I use my wallet and wave it around to passing cars so they'll pick me up.

Set up a perimeter of C4 in a 60 yard radius around where i'm going to be camped out, with only one safe way in our out of the perimeter. Set up camp with gillie suit and goggles and wait for the thing, might take a a while so I packed snacks and shit (nothing too loud as to not scare away the prize). Once it does show up, spring out of the bushes with my gun and two more drums of ammo, and flush the thing either onto the C4 or onto the Claymores. if I run out of ammo with that I brough a sidearm and an smg in case shit gets hairy. Basically gonna camp out in a spot with a nice vantage of the giant's supposed territory. Stalking it until I can get into a position to land a good hit. Main targets are going to be the temple, nasal cavity, and eye sockets. .50 BMG should be plenty to drop a giant assuming my shot placement is good. If worse comes to worse and I get spotted then hopefully a magdump of .45 ACP right into the giant's palm or sole should be enough to dissuade them. At least until they start chucking boulders at me.

Gonna be oper8ing in the forest as well as cave systems. Firearms are suppressed because fuck that reverb. And I chose pistol calibers because those should be more than enough for goblins. Gas grenades because I don't want to cause a cave. NVG's and flashlights for visibility as well as blinding opponents. Glowsticks are to be used as a trail of breadcrumbs should I get lost innacave. Smartphone loaded with local maps both above ground as well as cave systems/mineshafts. Spelunking and camping gear. Iodine dropper for disinfecting suspect water if I'm unable to boil it.
Plan is to set up a camp to use as a home base and patrol around until I find evidence of goblin activity. Once I find a sign I'll either enter their lair, which would most likely be a cave system or abandoned mine shaft, and begin exterminating.

Fun fact! Aside from the backpack and carrier, flashlight, kukri, revolver (and associated materials) and the glowsticks, this is my daily loadout. (Though it's not always my Ka-Bar knife, sometimes it's a smaller folder or a small Gerber fixed blade.)
Depending on the environment the goblin is found in, I'd give myself a 50% chance of survival.
If the environment is in my favor and I spot the fucker quickly enough, 80%.

This is my "Hell on Earth" mode.

My strategy to kill the manticore is thus.

>If he eats the bait observe him and his reaction to the medication (Hopefully he dies from overdose)
>If he doesn't eat it, open fire from the blind
>Hope to god I can land enough shots to kill it before it is able to clear the brush enough to kill me
>If he makes it close enough to the brush, fire at gasoline canister and hope the fire scares him away or kills it
I think that the manticore is the easiest roll. It doesn't have the ability to make sound strategy so you can easily outsmart it.

M1 helmet simply because I don't have any other protective headgear (helmet was passed down from my granddad) I figure if it comes down to it, and I get thrown by a squatch, I'd rather have a helmet bounce off of the ground than my melon.
What attracted me to the type 84 SKS was that it is compatible with the AK-47 magazine, and of all my rifles, that is the one I could put out the most RPS with without a mag change or (God help me if it happened) an actual magazine reload.
I think when I was typing it out, my favorite idea for all of it was the idea of using tape recorders like distraction grenades. I have a box of old tape recorders in my closet, and if you recorded them with a few seconds of silence before the noise, you could chuck em a good ways away before they went off. When innawods at night, being able to appear like you're everywhere could prove pretty valuable.
I like the idea of having easily accessible rubbing alcohol in yours, because in my bug out bag, my first aid is accessible, but a little clunky in a combat situation, and if you happen to be without light, you're screwed.

Innawoods is incapable of accurately modeling my loadout. IRL, the alcohol is in my main pack and cannot be accessed without removing my bag.
I keep it mostly as a fire accelerant and dry-bathing aid. First aid is a secondary use in my mind.

You know how I know you're not actually playing hell on earth mode? [spoiler]Type 84 mags aren't stock AK mags; they're modified and fitted to the rifle. You either have an SKS-M or an SKS-D.[/spoiler].
In any case, in an innawoods scenario where I don't have a supply train, I prefer a fixed mag to ensure my rifle is still useful just in case I can't recover spent mags. Of course, I doubt bigfoot's laying down enough suppressing fire for that :^)

Going for a bug out set up. Gonna try to get out of the city and set up a camp site that could easily be torn down and stowed quickly should the need arise. Went with an MP5SD and USP .45. Chose pistol caliber because it's lighter and should be fine for shambling corpses or the odd bandit. Couple fire starters, food, water, map, compass, tp, toothpaste and a smart phone with a solar charger to stave off boredom.
