Hello.
I'm a hypnotherapist, and I want to see if past lives are real. I need test
subjects.
My current idea for this process is this:
>Pre-talk (any questions you might have left until just before the session)
>Contract (follows below)
>Induction + depth tests (depending on the person, something different)
>Regression to early childhood, a pleasant memory
>Regression to a past life (calm, pleasant moment -- I'm not up for therapy)
>Basic questions:
>>Is it day or night?
>>Are you inside or outside?
>>Are you alone or with somebody?
>>(if with someone) Who is with you?
>>How old are you?
>>What year is it?
>>What's happening?
>>What's your name?
>>What's your surname?
>>Where are you?
>>Who is a known person in the area?
>Then basic positive suggestions (better self-esteem, discipline, happiness, &c)
>Then emergence from the trance state
>We talk about your experience for a while, then I send you the session in mp3
>In the next week or two, you try to confirm the session's findings in history
>I compile those into wiki format and publish them on lvxnox.com
Of course you all get credit where it's due. I'm just the catalyst for the
process.

The contract is as follows:
>On my part, I promise to do everything as professionally as I can, towards
>your best health and interest. What I expect from you, is that you do exactly
>what I tell you, when I tell you, for the duration of this session.
Example: I ask you to lift your hand. This means "move a hand that belongs to
you in an upwards direction". Any movement that fits this description counts as
a realization of the suggestion given. Trying to think and analyze, like "which
hand, how high, what angle", will stand in the way of you reliably going into a
deep trance.
Induction + depth tests:
I will only do past life regressions with people who are ready and willing to
go into deep trance, also called "somnambulism". To test this, there are two
methods:
>Amnesia suggestion (i.e. "forget the number 6")
>Anaesthesia suggestions (i.e. complete loss of sensory input from your hand)
If after receiving an anaesthesia suggestion you can still "kinda" feel when
you pinch or bite yourself or anything else, then we'll try deepening once or
twice, and then proceed once it works.
The regression itself is direct, using a pleasant feeling affect bridge.
>As I count from 1 to 10, I want this feeling you have to grow stronger, and
>stronger, 1...10.
>Now I'm going to count from 10 to 1, and as I count, you're going to drift
>back through time, to the first time in this life that you felt this feeling,
>10...1.
Then past life:
>Now I'm going to count from 5 to 1, and with each number I want you to trace
>this feeling that you're experiencing even further back, into a time before you
>knew this feeling in this life, to a time where you had experienced it before
>your current life. 5...1.

Can you find out mine?! I'm really interested in past lives, and I was told before in the past I was in the Great Famine (Ireland 1800's I think).
What do I need to do exactly, see it is sometimes tricky for me to switch off I am very hyper !

Well, your post does confirm that you are indeed a bit on the slow side.
There's a contract, and of course you get a full recording of the sessions, for your own use.
