What does /x/ think of the Force? Is is truly a metaphysical entity, with millions of mitochondria that live inside of us? That is, only if we have the Force within us.
I've met some seriously dedicated Australians that believe in the Force.

You don't think it's in the very least supernatural?
>>17097925
Isn't that the disease that killed Han Solo?
I guess /x/ isn't ready for the Force

>hurr spoilers for plebs so funnay
Personally, I think the Star Wars lore regarding the Force is just as plausible/applicable than just about any other belief on this board. At least they are technically advanced and understand it, versus like "muh AP/tarot/vampyr" and "faith" based beliefs.

the force is an exact stand-in for beliefs in the tao and "white magic vs black magic" except in space, so yeah.

Sounds like Qi.

I was under the impression the "Jedi Order" that people talk about as a new religion was more of a philosophical group than an actual religion, I don't think people actually believe they can manipulate reality with their mind in the ways that the movies depict. It's more a school of ethics, philosophies and ontologies sort of like humanism or transhumanism.
Do people actually take it seriously? And are these the sort of people who are active within the Jedi community or are these just fringe nut jobs?

did they bring back midichlorians for the new trilogy?
who was stronger with the force in this scene?
What does /x/ think about dragons? I have met some seriously dedicated khalisi that are ready to take the Iron Throne
>Calling it the force
>Missing the point
Thought this was /x/
What does /x/ think of Ki? I have met some seriously dedicated saiyans that believe in Ki
Isn't the force basically telekinesis?

kek
Its literally space Qi.

Tesla believed in the luminiferous aether as being an all pervasive force which explained a wide variety of phenomena.
Today there's another noition for this, called the zero point field.
This is just a simplification, but the idea with this is that a very high frequency wave or very very tiny particles can pass through anything you would consider to be solid and that this "force" can be tapped into by using special means.
With this information you can become adept in the use of the force if you get in shape, train hard and know what you are doing.

The idea being that the body runs on electricity, it has a bioelectric field and effects related to that.
When in optimum health and with the right training it may be possible to tap into phenomena which can be considered to be "the force".

What the yin yang actually represents to me is polarity, that is two poles and everything in between them.

chi is so fucking real that it can be more dangerous than most drugs

Second this.
Chi imbalance can potentially fuck you up. Worse is when it doesn't get regulated properly in your system.
>Mitochondria
Kek
It's midichlorians. You already have millions of mitochondria in you.
>>17100750
not yet
>>17100785
The sad thing is, that most religious texts probably took just as much time/effort to create as stories like that and Star Wars.

As an Australian, I'm gonna say that they were probably taking the piss. Even my dad put Jedi on the census a couple'a times.
Holy fuck. I bet the same people who were talking shit about occult conspiracy theories being in /x/ are now participating in this thread about the force. Ridiculous.

I really want to think that there are none, but then I recall a few particularly murderous anons from other boards, so nothing would really surprise me about 4Chan anymore.
I take anything on here as 'possible' but never 'absolute fact' without proper research.

Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
I think you mean metachloreans, or something to that effect.
