Pretty much half of the threads on /x/ are about tulpas. If you're serious about this, be aware it can go really wrong.

A tulpa is a part of your mind that you give a personality to. That being said, making a tulpa while you are under stress, anger or psychologically unstable is a terrible idea.

Go check out some threads on the archive. There is one about a ponyfag who tried to make a tulpa whilst under medication. It didn't turn out well.

All I can say is that westernized Tulpa practices can be severely bastardized and stripped of an honest and profound meaning. While doing your research, as always, be very careful of who is giving the information.
