Any ideas on what happened to me? I was falling asleep list

Any ideas on what happened to me?

I was falling asleep listening to this:

and as I was focusing on it, I heard a really loud scream, clearly in my head. I didn't have to take my earbuds out because I could tell it came from inside my head, but I have no idea what the source could be. Is this paranormal?

I've had this a couple times. Its pretty freaky.

Its like a scream at you. its short in length but definately there. prolly half a second long.
