Is there any way to control fate or something that is usually beyond your control through paranormal means?

Fate doesn't exist. For better or worse, we are all free to make our own choices.
>Is there any way to control fate
How fucking sad and pathetic
Man, know thyself.
Certainly, senpai. You just have to hack reality.

Based on your personal opinion.
Go out and do things?
There is potentials, but there isn't fate.
Potentials are like the dice thrown with your decisions, and things that are a potential in your future (imagine it like a branching tree).
To control this, and find the "best path", is either through wisdom (a posteriori), or intuitive understanding (a priori); "best path" is relative btw.
Imo, we're built to intuitively understand this at a young age (the object impermanence phenomena is a demonstration of this, a blend of existing/non-existing, a grey concept), but it's programmed out of most with education that enforces a strict adherence to the black or white ideology (as potentials are grey, black/white at the same time, you can probably see the parallels here with QM).
This relearning on how to feel this, can be done through meditation, or things such as hallucinogens (salvia or acid w/meditation will get you some clues), and remembering how to feel your other branching paths.
For they all exist, but you're only focusing your point of attention to a single potential (following the above analogy: you're focusing on one branch of the tree, but you are the tree).
However, I should mention, don't get lost in the branching paths as that results in psychosis; you're in multiple potentials at the same moment and manually merging them.
This can result in major damage to your body, death, and/or going insane (a defensive mechanism); though the results if done properly are... well let's just say it's potentially amazing.
To control this is to "hack reality" as people say, but it's really just using the mechanics of reality to your benefit.
Furthermore, some would say this is "magic", but it's not; as any sufficiently misunderstood mechanism of nature is magic.
It's merely a phenomena that isn't understood in an empirical/ration sense, as current logic is based on black or white, not the mechanism by which potential manipulation is done; via grey logic.
Have fun, and stay safe.

As much as anything else here. At which point, there is no reason to take anyone else's word over mine.

You're on fucking /x/ and you've never been in an occult thread?
Where the fuck have you been?
That's what all these occult and magick threads are about. That is the philosophers stone. That is the great work.
