Yes and no. They always pick the people in the audience who want to be hypnotized. so if you want to be hypnotized why cant you. if your perception on hypnosis is that its real then you can be hypnotized within reason. If you wouldn't do something normally then you wont do it hypnotized. its all about your/the individuals perception..

Has anyone ever tried self hypnosis? Any luck with it?

I got hypnotized once. It was a therapeutic thing. It was pretty cool but I don't think it worked that well.

I used erotic hypnosis to mess with my sexual preferences. It works pretty well for me. The relaxation is nice too.

I plan to use it to quit smoking, but I haven't committed to that yet.
