Does anyone know any abandoned places in Southern California, and preferable near Vista CA. I'm making a movie and an abandoned place would be a great location to film.

As far as houses, most municipalities are good at tearing them down due to fire hazards, but there are a few small abandoned houses in Palomar that aren't gone yet. I can't google maps them for you though I'm sorry
There are a couple of old blimp hangars in Irvine ca that are left alone besides security when they aren't being rented out
If you can get to tj and kill a family who isn't tied to the cartel you'll have the house to yourself for a day or two before bigger fish decide to coop themselves up in it

But yeah abandoned properties are torn down quickly as fuck because of socals fear of the next wild fire. Depending on the theme of the movie, if you can rent a vacation house in Newport for a day, copy the key and roll the dice, there are large creepy esque properties thatre almost always empty, you just have to hide the fact that they overlook Newport I guess
