Its real... all of it...

You sure this isn't a troll article?

Its not a troll, this story had been told for a long time.

America has a Secret Space Program.

I didn't know Gary Mckinnon was a fucking dumbass. "Non-terrestrial" might be referring to boats.

the list might have been US Navy officers(air arm fighter pilots) that were projected candidates to be astronauts like their counterparts in the airforce.

Dude was high as fuck when he hacked the server. He himself admitted it. As far as we know he might seen a blank screen or a picture of someone's cat and dreamed everything up.

There is a breakaway civilization that does all the Space Operations.

They get to use all the amazing classified technology we invented but cant use on Earth because it would ruin the Economy.

He never actually hacked shit when you look into his story. The US goverment was just so incompetent at protecting information (no firewall? the fuck?) that even he figured out how to do it.

That said, he had all of no reason to make up anything. All of this has only brought him more difficulties, not less.

that makes no sense. every Technology discovered was used to exploit its economic potential. so if we already could "travel among the stars" at least the u.s. government would already salvage asteroids and planetoids for its natural ressources. there is no benefit in "lock it away forever". it's like "well yeah, we can connect Computers all over the world, but, you know, we don't think it's Technology People should know about".

We have something called the Invention Secrecy Act and under it power generation devices are classified.

If we all the sudden had unlimited free electricity it would upset the global economy and the Government and the Oil Cartel make sure that does not happen.

They keep all this stuff tied up in the black projects because they know if the open world gets it then it would rock the boat so to speak.

People would start to make weapons with the unlimited energy at their disposal.

There are many ways it would change our world and the Societal Engineers dont want to open that can of worms.

I dont agree that its their Choice, personally.

He had access through a really limited program called something like Landover. To hear him describe it, he couldn't exactly do a lot. Again, this guy didn't hack shit. He freely admits he only got in (to a limited extent because of incompetence on the side of the government. And again, it would have added to his difficulties to make up shit rather than just play it off as having seen anything.

But yeah, it is pretty lacklustre we get all of nothing to show for his being close to preparing to off himself than go to the US when they wanted him to stand trial.

Do you understand the implications of deep space mining?

Distances are constantly changing, and so would the needs of the shuttle going to these resources.

The composition of asteroids must be identified first.

Transportation of the tool necessary for harvesting resources.

The development of regulations for such expeditions.

Costs for harvesting and a good estimation of the value of the resources in the case of asteroids.

Honestly as far as I'm concerned, he did the US a huge favor as a sort of 2nd hand whistle blower.

They had THOUSANDS of computers with default passwords, and he basically used a program similar to Logmein to take over. A few times people caught him because he slipped and logged in during office hours. One immediately cut the connection, and another had a short conversation with him. That's US top security for ya, and people think they can hide shit from us. More likely that they just fill the pool with piss and shit and puke until we can't see anything else - this board, for example. Either just have some guy type huge posts in all caps about the truth, or flood it with bullshit - even better with both.

Sure the cost would be great, but the learning curve would be immense on such an undertaking, though. Also there's that whole thing where whoever finances our spread from earth will be remembered for as long as we continue to exist, which could be long as fuck just because some guy decided to go play some pool with asteroids and comets.

Here's something a little more recent than McKinnon. An astronaut himself tweeted pictures of what some believe to be a UFO just recently. Although at that altitude it's safe to call it something besides a flying object, more like a space station.

Are we even capable of a deep space warship?

Aren't Ion Drives relatively new (the first one is going to be used next year)?

Isn't Warp Drive technically impossible based on our acceptance of the Theory of Relativity?
I know there is one plausible theorem for warp drive but even that one is pretty iffy, but NASA says they're working on developing the tech to detect it.

Is their wormholes near us that were kept secret?

Is the theory that there is an alien race of hunters that destroy other races when they reach a certain point in technological advancement true? Are they preparing for it?

Is it just the United States with this? What about other countries with competent space programs? Or do you think they're all working together on this program?

Can we sign up for this space warship?
I always wanted to explore space and this is the best opportunity.

They don't really need money anymore, they own printing presses for that. They can just print whatever they need. It's only good for paying slaves to do their dirty work for them.

They don't actually carry money around to buy things like regular people Money is just a tool of control to them.

I remember reading about this, he saved part of a photo before someone realized they were being "hacked" and shut down the Remote Administration tool.

In reality, they werent actually "hacked" at all; the computers he gained access to had LITERALLY ZERO password protection. He just got the address of the server and had free reign over unprotected computers.

I remember U.S. officials tried to get him extradited from the U.K. to face charges and life in prison, and U.K. refused.

It's a law that says if you patent something and government finds it dangerous or a threat to national security(because they might use it militarily and don't want potential enemies to know they exist or how they work) then the government can make it classified, so you don't get to benefit from it or talk about it. The plebs are kept plebs by being born plebs.

This mentality comes from a generation of special snowflakes who were told they could do/be anything, but now they are realising that isn't true, and perhaps they aren't so special.
So to combat that they create this fantasy that it's actually the evil illuminati/government keeping them down, and that if it wasn't for them they could become kings.

The guy used the network admin account without PWs to view files on the host pcs within NASA, JSC, Pentagon. He didn't actually hack anything. He's not lying. There are rumors that he did it for MI5/6 and that's why they're protecting him, but there is no proof. He's playing dumb so they can't pin anything on him. No, he didn't use any 0-day exploits or bypass any NIDS/HIDS, he just used a default password and a remote admin tool. Yeah, because NASA security is that simple.

I'd agree he's hiding how he got into the systems. The method he says in the interview would be incredibly stupid for a government even in the 90's and he hacked all the major systems with that? I call BS on that.
