Yeah a swirl. It's located like... Say you have your left palm faced up towards you. It's near the "ball" of the palm on the lower right.
And Umm... I don't know what these palms have to say. Does it just come to you, or do you have to read up on what lines will mean in what parts of the hand etcetc?

You can read palms cold. Means, you can just read the lines and what them means.
The better way is, reading with trance. Best results and the most informations.
Resources... i wouldn´t recommend any, but to learn. Grab a book about palm reading. Just an ordinary one and start with it. Every palm reader has its own perspective on palms.
