For what it's worth, those photos are of an ejected blanket. The theory behind the Black Knight satellite is completely unrelated. All that happened was when these photos came out (directly from NASA by the way, and still accessible on their site and acknowledged openly by them), conspiracy theorists started claiming with absolutely no basis that it must be the Black Knight that people have been talking about for 50 years.
