What do you guys know about the weird "missed" calls people around the world kept getting from the number 88888888
I would constantly get text notifications of having a missed call from that number back around 2013. Curious thing.. It used to happen on an old "non smart phone" ever since i switched to a "smart phone" i haven't gotten them..
>>
Last year, around 10 am of the morning i received a call from the same number, it went for days, like 9 or 10 days receiving the same call, of course i didnt answer, i received the calls on a house phone, not in a cellphone
>>
yes oh my god
i got a call from 123456789 once or something like that. what could that even be? i had it saved for the longest time on missed calls but it just bothered me too much and i deleted it. along with numbers like 11111111 and 99999999. sometimes leaving a 4 second voicemail of silence.
>>
well I mean you can spoof your phone number so it's no big deal. i've done it with the help of some prank dialing programs

I bet you spoofed that triple!

Is this what we've become? Spooped by missed phone calls?

One time I cooked some pizza rolls but they burst. It was so terrifying I shat myself.

I cooked condensed chicken noodle soup without a cover over the top and it popped and exploded all over my microwave.

To this day I'm convinced aliens were tampering with my microwave frequencies and I wear a heavy suit of tinfoil as a precautionary measure while cooking my food.

You didn't miss the call, OP.

You just don't remember what happened after you answered it.

If OP was really interesting in an answer he'd have asked in >>>/g/

Anybody ever get a call from a 710 number? Its a special non-geographic area code reserved for the federal government. The feds only use it for a special national security / emergency management phone service.

Be sure the foil you're using is high in molybdenum or it won't work right.
