It's definitely not subliminal messaging, because you're seeing everything an the monsters and gore are the focus. Subliminal would mean stuff like they insert millisecond clips of other things in there, or hide consistent but small visuals to the background, or they choose their words very specifically, even replacing some with sound alikes, like meow instead of now.
What you're talking about is more what the news does where it paints a narrative to make you feel one way about something's you should feel a different ways about.
