I've never been there, but had a friend who did and he said the weirdest thing was out in the street. Tourists kept stepping out into the street to get there picture taken at site of rounds hitting the President.

There are reports from 9/11 of people hearing huge explosions before the towers collapsed. These stories don't fit the official narrative and so they don't get any airplay when the events get retold, because they just don't fit.
