UFO over Coronado Island, San Diego, CA this afternoon. At first I thought it was a parasail, but it was too big, and it never moved. Helicopters flew nearby, but didn't stay in the area.
No sound.
Media completely silent about its presence.
Many people seemed to not react to its presence...?!!
It looks like...a shoe, with something floating to its lower left. Like a probe of some sort, or a waiting attack device.
Coronado Island is a military base on the Northern half (to the right) residential in the middle, and resort hotels and the Navy SEAL base just below along the strand.

I observed it clearly for the better part of an hour. There was no sound.
Honestly, I just think it was interesting because I couldn't identify exactly what it WAS, which makes it intriguing. It could have been a balloon or some sort of device suspended (and made oblong by) the wind, which seems plausible. It was only about 300-400ft. up though. It didn't move during that hour I was watching.

We live in San Diego, anything you see in the skies is 99% of the time man made. Now I'm not saying there's nothing unusual in the sky, my friends and I have definitely seen some things. But I'd classify them as experimental aircraft before I jumped to the extraterrestrial conclusion.
