I've personally seen this phenomenon in-person once in my life, when I was young.

your red circle on screen is on nothing. its just as black as the rest of the "sky". maybe it looks right on your smart phone but i got my pc connected to a tv that does true black. everything else is crystal clear but your circle is around nothing

Well it could just be photons hitting the film. Or it could be the visitors the moon landing astronauts all claimed to have watched them.
This is the problem. It's film, and anything could have affects on the film. But... That clarity and level of detail. Constantly surprised we still use digital in the "HD" era.
