Alright guys, this is my first post here.
I want to make something clear.
I am NOT a roleplayer, crazy or anything like that.
I do not stand to gain from this in any way.
Something Paranormal just happened and I need you help to investigate it.
You know the whole "Goatman" thing?
I'll put this bluntly.
I just found one, A real one.
I've looked into all sorts of paranormal creatures before, so I knew what this was soon after I encountered it.
I need all of the information/help/equipment recommendations you have.
I'll give you the story. This just happened, a half hour ago.

I tried to post and got a warning for spamming /fit/ when I've never even been there. Mistaken IP, or government suppression? Either way, you should be safe in your house. I haven't read anything about goatmen/skinwalkers/drunk abos having a sixth sense for addresses. Go back during the day and get pics. You can make a homemade fire device with a lighter and a can of hairspray.
Get a local patrol to go down there. Just say that you passed through the area and when you stopped for a drink you saw something that looked like a body near the edge of the grass. Don't go into details just say some shit like you didn't want to approach it in case it was a body or something. Have them as bait see if it comes again

ok, so just to be clear, you're claiming that there were at least two of them (indicates you were in their territory or hunting ground), the first one seemed to be distracting you while the second one moved in for an ambush (indicates they work in a team/pack, must have at least a primitive social structure), they mimic human language, possibly other sounds, and you got a good view of them, and had a good listen.
When they 'spoke', did they sound consistent? Like did they have the same "voice" every time, or was it more like they were mimicking sounds, like a lyrebird? This is important, because it distinguishes between a creature that understands language and could use it to theoretically have a conversation; and a creature that just copies the sounds it hears in the hopes that it will bait out prey/a mate.
What do they look like? The more detail, the better. Size, approximate weight/height, colour, structure, limbs, etc. At a glance, would you easily mistake them for a person? Did they run on their hind limbs like a human being?
I'm not convinced you've actually seen what you claim to have seen - the pictures you took were terrible, I don't think anybody in the thread can see any kind of figure in any of them. Gonna need some evidence.

From what you've told us, it sounds very similar to "skinwalker" (never much liked that name, it's already taken by a Native American myth) stories, a lot of which came from Australia. Haven't seen any skinwalker stories in a while, which is a pity because they were always my favourite spoopy greentexts.
Whereas goatman has a reputation for just wanting to scare the shit out of his victims, these are creatures that allegedly lure people into the bush/woods by imitating human speech, then kill them, wear their skin and return to their victims' lives.
Stories about them normally take place during a camping trip. They would usually mention hearing strange sounds as the creature "learned" how to talk - interestingly the "dog trying to talk" analogy has been used before to describe their speech during this learning phase. After it had perfected imitating the voice of the victim or their friends, it would use trickery to lure the group into the bush and separate them. The group would later meet up again and head back to camp. In some stories, the victim is missing for far longer than the others, and is found after an extensive search. The victim acts strangely after this, speaking little and talking in vague general terms when they must. Once the group gets back from their trip, they notice that the victim is different - antisocial, distant, they might break up with a spouse or have a falling out with a loved one out of nowhere. The implication is that the victim is now dead, and the creature is now wearing their skin, living their life.
I'll see if I can find any archived greentexts/links from around the web, especially stories from Australia.

Don't know if you're lying, but I've been fascinated by these guys recently so here's all I know:
Fire. I don't know if it really works because you can never tell what's real or fake on this site. But fire works. Preferably as a grenade, bomb, or flame thrower. Don't worry about the wild fire, think about if the native wild life or killing the thing is more important.
They are physical, so a physical barrier between yourself and it will work. As long you aren't a dumbass and leave a damn window open. In all the stories they can only paw at cabins and shelters and make creepy noises and ask you to come out.
Don't. Speak. To. It.
They learn. You will teach it more words to better trick others later. Then the next person it comes across will hear your voice calling for help. They learn by mimicry. The voice you heard of the woman was a victim of it. Or god willing, just a woman who encountered it and got away who accidentally taught it a few words.
They leave at sunrise. I think it is because they are nocturnal rather than a stupid paranormal reason. But in every story they get more desperate for people to come out the closer sunrise is and stop after it rises.
Gunshot wounds have mixed results, they either work enough to scare them off, or in other stories they don't work at all.
I'd suggest explosive rounds. Entery wound tiny, exit wound will take chuncks off the fucker. Think of it as a super physically powerful zombie. The only way to hurt it for sure is to remove pieces. Keep a sword or big ass knife on you at all times. Or as you Aussies call it, a small knife.
