In my understanding, all life is interconnected. All matter and energy exists within what I call the Soul Matrix. It's a shitty name but people liked my other ideas even less. Anyway, all life is connected in this matrix-hologram, and thus every human has a "spirit animal" connection to... every other human, animal, etc.
Over the course of your life, certain animals identify the need to share their wisdom with you. Teach you something.
So, I guess the best use of knowing your spirit animal is to speed up the achievement of that lesson, so you can move on.

When I open my mind, I get so much information.. but it comes across as a white light, happy hum, contentment. Incredibly difficult to get it to convey anything other than what I assume is the Divine Force/God? Using the emotions of memory is an interesting method, and it would never have occurred to me. I actually learned by focusing on the images I would get during trance and trying to hold them longer. Little by little, I was able to hold it longer until I could watch a complete scene. I have no trouble scrying nowadays, but it was really tricky at first, especially since I couldn't get good results with reflective surfaces at first. Nowadays, I use the surface only to get a silhouette, then I concentrate on it in my mind, and I can get something more vivid there.

Alright, I'll give you some details. We were dating for a year. We never fought, we always got along, talked everyday. Everytime we spent time together, we were super affectionate. Our personalities just complimented one anothers very well. Everything was perfect... and then the break up happened. It came as quite a shock to me, because he did not give a clear answer why.
About 3 months later, we sat down and talked about what it. There, he explained to me that his emotions for me began to swing like a pendulum going back and forth between "I love her" to "We can't make it". Because of this, he felt like it was unfair and untruthful to keep the relationship going.
In my opinion, he is a fantastic person. He has his faults, but so does everyone. He is very honest, and blunt. He will give his honest opinion on something. Super ethical, and prefers to be self-employed through his own work rather than work a nine to five. He does have a pessimistic perspective on life though, and has serious issues with self-doubt, constantly beating himself up for not being good enough.
