Is there any evidence of anything interesting being on the darkside of the moon? Read a tin hat thread about the government secretly going there blah blah blah space lizards blah blah blah, but wondering if there's any substantial theories/finds?
>the darkside of the moon?
There is no 'darkside', both sides receive the same amount of sunlight.

That's why I was thinking but the thread was saying that due to the earth's rotation, one side never faces us, twas just curious
>>16947602
The moon is tidally locked in orbit so we only ever see one side. The "dark side" is the side we can't see from Earth.

Your schooling sucks.
Yes, the way the moon rotates one face does always face the earth, BUT that doesn't mean the other side is always in the dark.
Shit, leave the basement and look at the moon a couple nights in a row, sheesh.

Holy shit are you really that autistic? The 'dark side' of the moon is just a phrase seeing as we cant see it ourselves so to us its dark and unknown.
It doesnt literally mean its dark you faggot.

Far-side of moon is NOT unknown, we have detailed pics of it.

the moon was made to give light during the night when present
it also is a good indicator of the length of a month if you watch the phases
there is no life on the moon.

>implying that the rest of /x/ is any different
>>16947590
There is no darkside of the moon, the moon rotates and every time it's out the people see the side of the moon that's facing them at the time, but it doesn't stay on one side. A simple Google would have answered your question.
