Time for a classic from 1996. Since there's no mitd/osom over the weekend, let's listen to some classic coast instead.
The late Father Malachi Martin was a renown exorcist and Jesuit, a one-time advisor to three Popes, and best-selling author. As a member of the Vatican Intelligence Network, under Pope John the 23rd, Martin helped extend the Church into Iron Curtain countries. In 1964, concerned about the corrupting influences of power, Martin was released from his vows of poverty and obedience after 25 years as a Jesuit. He left Rome for New York, where he did odd jobs until a Guggenheim Fellowship enabled him to write his first bestseller, Hostage to the Devil.

>>16945355
"In the end, there were very few problems. A nuclear energy facility in Ishikawa, Japan, had some of its radiation equipment fail, but backup facilities ensured there was no threat to the public. The U.S. detected missile launches in Russia and attributed that to the Y2K bug. But the missile launches were planned ahead of time as part of Russias conflict in its republic of Chechnya. There was no computer malfunction.
Countries such as Italy, Russia, and South Korea had done little to prepare for Y2K. They had no more technological problems than those countries, like the U.S., that spent millions of dollars to combat the problem."

Holy shit famm- Malachi relates possession to addiction- where slowly but surely the will is overtaken by the tendency to be possessed - this is deep shit.
>>16945369
>>16945371
Thanks guys. Think I'm with you now. Muh dick thanks you for the pics too.
>I gave him the codename Hammond
>>16945378
Everything he says about demons and possession i agree with completely. The 'perfectly possessed' thing is another.
This is pretty damn good.
>>16945401
yea it seems that his view on demons is much more psychological than "things that go bump in the night"
i think the latter is just a metaphor for the first but people have forgotten this over time, taking the artwork literally and being generally retarded
this is actually my view on religion
it was always metaphor but people forgot because they're retarded
proper in-context use of "defenestrated". this guy knows his stuff.

Do any of you guys have an opinion on Robert Ghostwolf? Was gonna suggest a show with him if we end up doing this again... specifically the one with the hopi elder.
Going to bed as it has passed 2 am here.
I think this thread was somewhat successful- considering it is the first classic art bell listen along. We can probably bring some more in for next saturday with some adverts in the mitd threads.
suggestions for next week-
>terence mckenna
>mel's hole
>another malachi
>jordan maxwell
>anthony west- or whoever that egypt guy is

DUDE MEAD LMAO
>>16945797
That looks pretty fucking good. I need to learn how to make some.
This talk about the perfectly possessed always disturbed me. Just the concept.
Also, another break.
>>16945808
HI caller on for me right now
>>16945421
This book is a really good read. It explains about the souls in purgatory and earthly encounters people had with them. In one account there was a soul who in his life killed a man in the guys barn for no apparent reason. The guy was crazy. But the soul complained about being possessed by a demon. So the idea is that mental illnesses are actually cases of people being possessed.
>>16945808
He means a REALLY bad back...
>>16945825
I'd rather put that on my face and try lucid dreaming
>>16945825
That filename
>>16945808
you think it disturbs you, huh? try dating a girl finally realizing after 4 years that's she's a perfectly possessed person. im absolutely serious.
imagine how feels a year later and still missing being with her. breaking up with that self-centered, emotionless, manipulating, pretend-human was the hardest thing ive ever done. i'm still depressed without her. yes, the sex was that good.
Now he's talking about good Jews and Muslims going to heaven
this is one of the things I contemplated when I was younger and really into Christianity.
>>16945866
>tfw no bf
>>16945874
>tfw the /x/ gf would have been listening with me.
well that was pretty nice , since there was no actual stream tonight
Looks like that's it for the show. Good job OP, was entertained. See you in the other threads, /x/philes.
Night, guys. Sorry it was so off the cuff and disorganized, it was fun though. Next weekend will be smoother.
See you all Monday night.
