>in 1981, three people were found murdered in Cabin 28 at Keddie near the Sierra Nevada mountains in California

Apparently the three boys and the oldest daughter next door were found to be alive. The older daughter first discovered their bodies in Cabin 28 the next morning.

I worked at a cleaning company, and Rosenbaum was one of the regular clients, which is weird. He'd pay $100 for two people to come, and he'd do it every 2-3 weeks. Odd for a college student, but he lived in a very nice apartment building, so he clearly came from money. But his apartment was always odd to me. We would walk into his place and it would be spotless. I mean, we would hardly do anything in the hour we were there. No dusting, no need to vacuum, the chrome was shining, mirror spotless, everything in order. He always had an insane number of five hour energy lined up on his counter, and one day I counted them. 107 bottle, lined up, in three perfectly straight rows. For a partier, he was obsessively clean.
My theory? Rosenbaum had at least something directly to do with it, whether he gave her the drugs she OD'd on on purpose or by accident, I don't know, but I think she died, and he hid the body.

I work with mentally disabled people who routinely clean reststops along the highways. They found a bloody body (obviously a murder) once in a car parked at a rest stop outside of Peoria, IL. The police called the fbi and they demanded that no one talk about the body. They threatened the company or something. I just know that we're not to talk about it (we'll lose our job). Also, my sister in law was supervising and saw the body so I know this is real. The FBI is super secretive about things like serial killers. Ricky McKormick's case was lied about for 12 years. Also, I believe that if the /b/ killer was real & caught the feds would try to keep it on the downlow. They don't like to let shit out.

Someone I went to college with's brother just went missing recently. Not much has been released officially yet, I'm following her posts on facebook. Can't say for sure any of this is true but sounds like he got dropped off at work and just poofed. His car went missing, later found in Chicago but still no sign of him. what creeps me out is what the known serial killers leave out of their confessions. for example, some speculate bundy first killed in his teens, because a girl on his paper route went missing and was never found.

back in january 2012 i visited some old friends in my old state and on one day two of us went in the woods to our old hang out spots. as we were walking up a trail, this big guy (big meaning bulky) with no shirt on, hairy bear like chest, comes running round the corner over a hill, on pretty rough terrain... WITH A BABY STROLLER with what appeared to be a real baby strapped into it.
he was running/jogging while pushing it and just looked at us and said something like "hey guys" and continued on his way. we were stunned, didn't know what to do or say, and just continued on our way also.
was he just some guy who lived nearby? why would he take his baby in a stroller on rough terrain, with possibility of it flipping over or baby falling out?

I think the scary element of disappearance stories is how they highlight the fragility of our lives and undermine the stability of our situations. We may feel like we've got life by the balls, but meeting the wrong person, going down the wrong street, etc can mean our disappearance and deaths, leaving our friends and family shocked and scared, forever wondering just what happened to their beloved.
That said, these stories are a good inspiration to have a healthy sense of paranoia and awareness of what's going on around you. Don't take anything for granted, don't go into situations that strike you intuitively as risky or weird. Don't give into peer pressure, don't go off with strangers. Protect yourself in every way possible. Sometimes just having a "don't even dare fuck with me" demeanor is sufficient to ward off most criminals who prey on the weak.
I believe humans have a precognitive intuitive sense that is meant to protect us, but we don't acknowledge it and develop it, so we suffer the consequences. It's a kind of "bullshit detector" that goes off when someone is lying to you, trying to deceive you, or intending to harm you.

I at this point just believe his mom's been grieved so much by the case that's she's willing to accept anything as proof. I believe the cop who says he investigated the photos. One source claims it was a play photo and specifically names the cop, who confirms it. On her fuckhuge website that I've only scanned through, she goes through these photos and claims they're of Gosch, then claims a second photo is an unidentified boy, yet the kid looks exactly the same as the kid in the other photos. The connection with the Franklin case, which has a lot of wholes in it to begin with, doesn't strike me as legitimate.
