Unsolved cases that still creep you out to this day

The Keddie Murders
>in 1981, three people were found murdered in Cabin 28 at Keddie near the Sierra Nevada mountains in California
>the victims were Glenna Sharp, known as Sue, her son John (age fifteen), and his friend, Dana Wingate (aged seventeen). As well Tina Sharp who went missing and later declared dead
>all three victims found in the cabin had been bound with electrical wire and medical tape
>victims had been bludgeoned with a claw hammer, and Sue and John had been stabbed repeatedly. John's throat had been cut. Dana Wingate was also manually strangled and bludgeoned with another weapon
>one of the knives discovered at the scene had been used so forcefully that the bladeform had bent approximately twenty-five degrees
>Tina Sharp was missing, presumably abducted from the scene
>her skull was found three years later 95 miles from the cabin, but the rest of her remains are undiscovered
>case remains unsolved

Apparently the three boys and the oldest daughter next door were found to be alive. The older daughter first discovered their bodies in Cabin 28 the next morning.

Some more for you folks.

Anthonette Christine Cayedito
>9 year old girl from New Mexico disappears on April 6, 1986
>Cayedito's mom receives phone call one day
>a girl on the phone was on line with her telling her that she's in Albuquerque.
>an unidentified male voice was later heard, "Who said you could use the phone?"
>the girl screams and call is ended
>four years later, a girl resembling Cayedito and two people accompanying her arrives at a restaurant in Las Vegas
>she intentionally drops knives and forks on ground and when a waiter arrives to pick it up, she squeezes their hand tightly
>girl apparently writes a message on a napkin that reads "Please help me! Call the Police"
>they leave the restaurant
>waiter later finds message and calls the police
>sister believes that she got abducted by a man posing as his uncle

i have a suspicion that someone who works at that hotel killed her in cold blood, brought her probably through stairs off camera and dumped her body in the tank, probably turned off the alarm trigger before even going through it.

This is more circumstantial stuff and theory,

The Black Doodler

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doodler

The Doodler, also known as the Black Doodler, is an unidentified serial killer believed responsible for 14 slayings and three assaults of men in the gay community of San Francisco, California between January 1974 and September 1975. The nickname was given due to the perpetrator's habit of sketching his victims prior to having sex with them and then stabbing them to death. The perpetrator met his victims at gay nightclubs, bars and restaurants.

The Monster of Florence

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster_of_Florence

The Monster of Florence, also known as Il Mostro, is an epithet commonly used for the perpetrator, or perpetrators, of 16 murders, nearly all of them couples, that took place between 1968 and 1985 in the province of Florence, Italy. The same gun and pattern were used in all the murders.

>On 24 November, five days before the discovery of the woman, a local 26-year-old man was hiking with friends around the same area. He reported to have come across a woman of foreign appearance, her face completely distorted by fear. He noted that the woman was dressed elegantly, although not appropriately for being outdoors, let alone hiking in the hills. As they passed each other she formed her mouth as if to say something but appeared intimidated by two black-coated men who followed her. The men also had a foreign appearance.

"The boys were going to sneak up and scare their family. The three older boys went one way and Dennis went the other way. The plan was for them to jump out of the woods on both sides and scare the adults. The older boys jumped out and everyone laughed and had a lot of fun. Then they asked where was Dennis. When it came time for Dennis to show up and scare the family, he never showed up."

"Then another guy from Carthage, Tennessee, reported hearing a small boy scream in the woods and noticed an 'unkempt' man at the edge of the trees. The FBI said that area where he heard the scream was too far away from where Dennis went missing to possibly get there in that time frame, so they never checked."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Lauren_Spierer
One from back home that I know a little more of.
I worked at a cleaning company, and Rosenbaum was one of the regular clients, which is weird. He'd pay $100 for two people to come, and he'd do it every 2-3 weeks. Odd for a college student, but he lived in a very nice apartment building, so he clearly came from money. But his apartment was always odd to me. We would walk into his place and it would be spotless. I mean, we would hardly do anything in the hour we were there. No dusting, no need to vacuum, the chrome was shining, mirror spotless, everything in order. He always had an insane number of five hour energy lined up on his counter, and one day I counted them. 107 bottle, lined up, in three perfectly straight rows. For a partier, he was obsessively clean.
My theory? Rosenbaum had at least something directly to do with it, whether he gave her the drugs she OD'd on on purpose or by accident, I don't know, but I think she died, and he hid the body.

Unsolved and unexplainable disappearances creep me out more than unsolved crimes. Though I know the two aren't mutually exclusive.

There was one about a couple on a picnic in a meadow or something who just straight up disappeared without a trace. All their picnic gear was still there, food and everything. I'd try and find the article but I'm a work and this post has already taken too much time. And yet I continue typing.

The old Maid quit.

The family died about 1-3 days after the new Maid arrived, I think the killer knew he was being noticed and acted on it, killing the whole family and moving on.

The fact he fed the Animals before leaving gets me, would love to know who that was and why they were so Nomadic.

I work with mentally disabled people who routinely clean reststops along the highways. They found a bloody body (obviously a murder) once in a car parked at a rest stop outside of Peoria, IL. The police called the fbi and they demanded that no one talk about the body. They threatened the company or something. I just know that we're not to talk about it (we'll lose our job). Also, my sister in law was supervising and saw the body so I know this is real. The FBI is super secretive about things like serial killers. Ricky McKormick's case was lied about for 12 years. Also, I believe that if the /b/ killer was real & caught the feds would try to keep it on the downlow. They don't like to let shit out.

Beaumont children disappearance
>three siblings go missing in 1966 on Glenelg Beach near Adelaide, South Australia
>the three siblings were walking with a tall blond man who eyewitnesses had seen before they disappeared
>the case resulted in the largest police investigation in Australian criminal history and remains one of Australia's most infamous cold cases

The case might have a connection to the Family Murders which were a series of murders of young men in Adelaide during the same time the children disappeared.

Interesting if true. More details? When did you do work there is relation to the disappearance?
>>
>>16929636
Nope. Careful reading of the evidence here suggests but doesn't prove the existence of an extensive and geographically wide-ranging network of men who kidnap, torture and murder people, mostly young men and boys. The Gacy connection is tenuous, but the way dates match up and everything goes vague is distressing.
Rather than a real cover up, which is like a bomb waiting to go off, i really believe investigators had no evidence to press charges and sometimes when they did it was against people they knew could get away, like the rich and powerful.
It must wreck their lives to know that men are out there actually feeding on children and will never be caught, or if they are, will be seen as lone whackos.
Fuck your Illuminati cartoon RP, this stuff is real and disappears as you move towards it.

Can't believe how insane that story is. It just seems so dramatic, the fact that she tried to secretly warn people about her being murdered, the husbands behavior during the investigation, the marital and financial issues, the fucking father-in-law that was obsessed with her, the murder-suicide of the kids, it's so dramatic.

>Police interviewed Josh Powell and their eldest son, Charlie. The child confirmed that the camping trip Josh described took place; however, unlike his father, he stated that Susan had gone with them and she did not return. Weeks after Susan's disappearance, a teacher reported that Charlie said his mother was dead. The parents of Susan Powell said that while at daycare several months after Susan's disappearance, Braden drew a picture of a van with three people in it, and told carers that "Mommy was in the trunk".

Like if I was reading that in a novel I would think it was too ridiculous.

I worked at his place about a year after the disappearance. The guy I worked the Rosenbaum apartment with also had done the final clean out on Spierer's place shortly after she went missing, he said it was very strange.
More details on the apartment: dude had bottle of prescribed klonopin in the medicine cabinet, one of the drugs she did the night she died. He lived alone in a two bedroom place. Not much more from his apartment. I believe wikipedia left out that when all of the guys lawyered up they were all advised to plead the 5th amendment during questioning, and that's where they got bogged down. I'll look through my old phone from back then and see if I took a picture of the bottles, it was fucking weird.

what creeps me out is what the known serial killers leave out of their confessions. for example, some speculate bundy first killed in his teens, because a girl on his paper route went missing and was never found.

dahmer also was highly conscious of the reaction of his family to his crimes. i believe he left out various details or softened it all up to protect his image with them. neighbors heard lots of angry yelling and fighting in dahmer's apartment, his account of mercy killings using drugs to render people unconscious (killing as a means to an end) doesn't seem quite right for some reason. also, his 2nd murder which he claims was unintentional was an act of violence, beating a man to death with his bare hands. dahmer had a deep rage bottled up inside him, i think he tried to downplay it after being caught.

what do you guys think about this that i actually saw myself?

back in january 2012 i visited some old friends in my old state and on one day two of us went in the woods to our old hang out spots. as we were walking up a trail, this big guy (big meaning bulky) with no shirt on, hairy bear like chest, comes running round the corner over a hill, on pretty rough terrain... WITH A BABY STROLLER with what appeared to be a real baby strapped into it.

he was running/jogging while pushing it and just looked at us and said something like "hey guys" and continued on his way. we were stunned, didn't know what to do or say, and just continued on our way also.

was he just some guy who lived nearby? why would he take his baby in a stroller on rough terrain, with possibility of it flipping over or baby falling out?

it was really weird, maybe we should've contacted the police but we didn't. i didn't get a super bad vibe but just a WTF was that all about vibe.

I think the scary element of disappearance stories is how they highlight the fragility of our lives and undermine the stability of our situations. We may feel like we've got life by the balls, but meeting the wrong person, going down the wrong street, etc can mean our disappearance and deaths, leaving our friends and family shocked and scared, forever wondering just what happened to their beloved.

That said, these stories are a good inspiration to have a healthy sense of paranoia and awareness of what's going on around you. Don't take anything for granted, don't go into situations that strike you intuitively as risky or weird. Don't give into peer pressure, don't go off with strangers. Protect yourself in every way possible. Sometimes just having a "don't even dare fuck with me" demeanor is sufficient to ward off most criminals who prey on the weak.

I believe humans have a precognitive intuitive sense that is meant to protect us, but we don't acknowledge it and develop it, so we suffer the consequences. It's a kind of "bullshit detector" that goes off when someone is lying to you, trying to deceive you, or intending to harm you.

I at this point just believe his mom's been grieved so much by the case that's she's willing to accept anything as proof. I believe the cop who says he investigated the photos. One source claims it was a play photo and specifically names the cop, who confirms it. On her fuckhuge website that I've only scanned through, she goes through these photos and claims they're of Gosch, then claims a second photo is an unidentified boy, yet the kid looks exactly the same as the kid in the other photos. The connection with the Franklin case, which has a lot of wholes in it to begin with, doesn't strike me as legitimate. No idea why she'd fabricate a story about her son visiting her though, she's blamed her ex some time after the fact for "selling" Gosch, but at this point there's just no proof. People like to accept these wild things and the idea that she's just this innocent woman caught in all of this, but time and time again Satanic Ritual Abuse has been proven as a hoax.

List of all Maine unsolved homicides. I figure the beating to death of a teenage girl would fit a young male due to the strength/stamina required.
http://bangordailynews.com/2009/06/26/news/profiles-of-mainersquos-missing-people/
John Joyce and William Garlickland on this list went missing a few years after the murder, and were last seen not far (about an hour drive) away from the scene of the murder. It would fit the probable age/gender combo, and the fact that theories about the case seem to include multiple people assaulting her.

I kind of got a thought. Since it was the time where they experimented with Gen-Food. And that he convieniently worked for a food company. After reading pic related. Could it be that he actually found something out? Like GMO's in food?
>>

So what if he did? There's no proven science that GMOs are bad, plus it's a recent trend to say they're evil.

Is it just me, or does this whole thing scream "One of us killed this fucker, and we're okay with that resolution."

Idk if you read the article, but literally every suspect is part of the kike reich.

These kind of reality shifts and anomalous people always fascinate me.

Much more interesting than that Mandela effect crap.

Another fun thing if you've read Mothman Prophecies are the MiB types like Mr. Apol who got people to take drugs that caused bad reactions, reminds me a lot of that.

If I remember correctly, the only source of this story is an old folk tale type book published decades after it supposedly happened.

Reality is stranger than fiction. I can almost imagine hordes of Literature majors writing their essays on the societal suggestions of the family dynamic.

That first one is Thomas Pynchon

Damn, Anon. Lose some of that edge.

Apart from the first post that he quoted, he wasn't exactly crazy for assuming that they were the same person.

>similar writing styles
>use of proper punctuation (which certainly sticks out on 4chinz)
>times of posts could suggest that someone was scrolling, and replying as they went
>>
>>16932639
Yet it was a completely pointless post. Point still stands.

It wasn't pointless as he was informing someone (that he thought needed it) that one could reply to multiple posts in a single post rather than many posts.

No reason to be upset, friend.
