Watch the video and show us where it's wrong then.
I never really bought the Ancient Aliens stuff, but I enjoyed watching the show to be introduced to cool shit I could research later, and to lol at some of the commentators.
I'm really enjoying the video though, OP. Thank you!
Guess the last tread 404'd, how did it go? Was /x/ accepting of alternate viewpoints?

Congrats, OP, your Christfag shill managed to point out the exaggerations and bullshit contained in the writings of Von Daniken, Sitchin, Tsoukalos, and their shills.
Is the idea of aliens potentially influencing ancient civilization altogether thrown out? Nope.
>>16104035

maybe the film is debunked, im not saying its accurate, but that doesnt make every story ever false.
the film was just a sugar coated "hey guys wake up" film, and was definitely not on par with a good docu

Phillip Coppens debunked the film (made by a Christian fundy), and now he's dead.
so glad this documentary was made. I was really getting tired of the humane race being discredited for their accomplishments.
Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing supports Ancient Aliens theory. Yeah, Ill give you the allure of good story telling. Unfortunately all of their "Theories" fall apart when reviewed by actual archeologist. You know archeologist rite? People that dedicate their lives to studying past civilizations. Vs. the ancient alien guys that dedicate their lives to their own fantasy and know nothing of past civilizations or ancient architecture and tools.
why are you getting your history from those guys again? They can't even see what is rite in front of them.

>so glad this documentary was made. I was really getting tired of the humane race being discredited for their accomplishments.
I think this reaction itself is exaggerated, even the AA promoters themselves used cherry-picked evidence to make their claims, i.e; Easter Island heads, Pyramids of Giza, Puma Punku, etc... to make their case, so to them they weren't undermining human accomplishments intentionally; merely trying to find an 'ayy lmao' explanation for what they considered gaps.

I will. since I seem to have you interest in my abilities to read you like an open book.
you vastly believe anything with no real value or fact. you dedicate your self to the fringe ideas because you struggle with the demands or reality.
This is probably brought on by lack of involvement by your parents growing up. I.E. letting you find out make believe people like Santa aren't real on your own. This destroyed your since child like wonder. You long to recover this fascination with the unknown.
Your desire how ever has out casted you from the general demands of real life. Why chase a real dream that requires effort when you can sit at a computer and chase a false dream. exerting as little energy as possible.

>>16104099

>>16104109
You have my interest in your abilities to read at all, period.
>you vastly believe anything with no real value or fact. you dedicate your self to the fringe ideas because you struggle with the demands or reality.
You project and create strawmen arguments to legitimize your position when someone finds flaw in your thread.
>This is probably brought on by lack of involvement by your parents growing up. I.E. letting you find out make believe people like Santa aren't real on your own. This destroyed your since child like wonder. You long to recover this fascination with the unknown.
Is this something you experience yourself, and why you project your own hurt feelings and damage past on to others because you believe they're making the same atrocious fallacies you are? lel
Who's book are you reading from exactly? A cursory check on the front cover seems to be your own past, but I understand you need to claim this of others to make yourself feel more secure. :)

"We have traditionally focused our efforts on ministering to those in cults, or the occult / New Age movement. And although that still remains our focus, we are finding new opportunities all the time to minister to those who are lost and in need of the love of Christ."
> Don't believe in those new age ancient alien theories. My cosmic jew space god is a much more superior explanation for the existence of humanity and civilization.
Well pick your poison. I find AA to be more level-headed than Christian "explanations" involving immaculate conception and ex nihilo creation. Broken down, it is just a bunch of mortal people in space ships who happened to stop by ancient earth. Not a huge stretch of the imagination. It is also less dogmatic. One can accept scientific theories such as big bang, evolution and all that. In fact, recognizing that the universe is immensely vast and old makes AAT all the more plausible. Why wouldn't a civilization beat us to the punch in evolution and come here to kick start things? Unless you want to believe in a idealized Star Trek universe where other civilizations don't interfere, this is the natural conclusion. It also fits in with ancient writings that were later mangled and mutated into oppressive religions. Nobody has started a religion off of AAT yet. In fact Daniken has said that he hates the idea of someone making it into a religion.
>>16104121
If it isn't obvious by now that I don't even humor their findings as scientifically valid, then you may need to learn how to read a reply properly before responding.
Yet again, I'll reiterate, just because one group does a shit job making a case for aliens influencing our past, doesn't rule out with 100% certainty that it didn't happen. That is basic logic, and apparently it flew past your head.

actually, none of that is like my life. you would orgasm over 9000 times just living one hour of my life.
Wait no, you would probably collapse under the demand of it all. I do a lot of volunteer work when I'm not working. My average internet time a week is 6 hours. That includes my smart phone, tablet, and pc.
I guess the mystery of the world and life kind of fade when you actually spend time out in it.
Its easy to believe in anything when you just take peoples word for it and never, ever, ever and I cant say ever enough go out and question what they have been told.
just keep refreshing the internet though. Eventually someone will tell you how to live your life with out independent thought or desire to question things.
>>16104130
I just need you to tell me what evidence you believe that AA is a possibility. Because all of your replies are on the fence. indecisive people are pointless to argue with.
>>16104138
>you would orgasm
Ahh I see, now you're bringing up the 'argument from (supposedly) having a better existence'
Or the pious, holier than thou 'argument from voluntary work' fallacy. Meaning the anon here cannot be incorrect because his life is grand and he does volunteer work.
Seems like you're making a fantastic argument for converting to an Abrahamic faith, so when are you going to do it? lel
>Its easy to believe in anything when you just take peoples word for it and never, ever, ever and I cant say ever enough go out and question what they have been told.
Its easy to make fallacies-per-minute terribad replies and think it should be taken seriously, because you're above those 'forum-posting cretins' who you are intermingling with right now to make your imaginary existence feel better.
Is shit so cash for you, anon? top kek
>just keep refreshing the internet though. Eventually someone will tell you how to live your life with out independent thought or desire to question things.

>>16104144
>evidence you believe AA is a possibility

>Because all of your replies are on the fence. indecisive people are pointless to argue with.
>more assumptions
Apparently not ruling out something absolutely = being on the fence.
Yeah I think its safe to say you know diddly squat.
>>16104161
having a better existence than you is not a argument its a fact. I'm just telling how much I love my life. The people in it and the joy of being exhausted after burning up all your energy from a 12 hour day.
The other half, realizing how most of what people consider paranormal and supernatural are just a lack of real world experience is also a fact.
I cant physically drag you out of your deep butt shaped cushion. I can however tell you nothing you believe is real and that you will never question it because you have no self control. When it comes to a thing you are obsessed with and have giving into with no real debate with your self about whether or not you are being lied to or just lying to your self.
any of this sinking in yet?
>>16104169
im just trying to figure out your point. you want to believe something is possible yet not really have any interest in it?
because the three biggest sights used by AA for their message have always been understood by archeologist and geologist years before Chariots of the Gods came out.
They say aliens had to have done it. Yet we find constant evidence that contradicts the AA findings.
The movie while it may be funded by the evil Christian powers. Still has its head in tangible evidence that fits the theory.
The AA guys are literally lying about their biggest boast of proof of past visitation.
so unless you actually want to contribute evidence to either side then your just typing to hear your self type.
>>16104180
>its a fact

>I-I love my life... d-don't tell me to kill myself for being retarded
Don't worry, I wont internet friend. :^)
>talking about the supernatural or paranormal is due to a lack of real world experience
So then why are you here then? Oh wait, sorry... I need to correct myself there, your ability to reason itself is paranormal to a point its incoherent and cannot be validated by modern science. You have me there.
>hurr durr I'm the magical fellow who can't save you from your 'delusions'
Yeah you couldn't, you can't save yourself it seems.
>Any of this sinking in yet?
Well in that case, I must sincerely apologize that I don't take the ramblings of someone who needs to legitimize his 'grand existence' on 4chan of all places... something that is actually making me chuckle hard.
>>16104200
>you're trying to figure it out
What is so hard about accepting that there are no absolute certainties in reality? We don't have evidence to rule out the possibility of alien contact or influence in our past to 100%, the AA debunked documentary simply refutes the stupidity of Daniken and friends, meh.
>The AA guys are literally lying about their biggest boast of proof of past visitation.

im betting its sobbing.
admitting you have a problem with adjusting to the responsibility of real life is hard. You wouldn't be the first person I have helped through their down fall from the fantasy land they isolated them selves in. You will cry a lot and curse all the people in your past that made you this way. That's okay though. The road is hard but short.
After you get past this the world will come to you in all new colors. You won't need fantasy to explain things anymore. You will actually be putting the effort into finding out your self. Instead of loathing for hours over nut jobs with blogs and a you tube channel. ;)
My ability to reason is only paranormal to you because you don't have real world experience. Once you start living in the world again you will see the wretched state all this paranormal stuff puts people in. Holding on to something so far out there that it can only be make believe. Time to get off the little red trolley and walk outside.

Always surprised to see that those 'bound by facts' or 'debunkings' are literally engaging in irrational arguments. I guess you earned that fedora meme after all.

I think your ability to reason is paranormal because you have a severe disconnect with reality that you're desperately fighting a losing battle; to my own entertainment.

Tried for tonight anyway. I think I put a crack in that shell of yours though. It won't hit you now and maybe not for a couple of nights. You will say when I'm 60 will believing in all of this have actually meant anything?

you never got a point and failed to state that your "never knowing a 100%" concept only encompassed what you deem as reasonable.
So you think no evidence allows for something to be possible because we can't know for 100%. However if said thing is out of your opinion it must be ridicules and ridiculed for not knowing you are the defining decision on what counts and what doesn't.
Here we go with the endless circle philosophy argument.

It was in my first and second post in this thread, you dense fuck.
You and the other idiot (if you're not a samefag) came here with the assumption that simply because Daniken does a bad job at making a case for alien influence, therefore it can be ruled out altogether and I critiqued that.
Then again this is clearly a case of 'hurr skeptics' who think that just because they rejected the brainwashing Abrahamic cults, that now they can't in any way be illogical or incapable of missing the point.
>So you think no evidence allows for something to be possible because we can't know for 100%. However if said thing is out of your opinion it must be ridicules and ridiculed for not knowing you are the defining decision on what counts and what doesn't.
No, it can still be open to a possibility for a multitude of reasons of which I'm not going to go into length and spoonfeed you over, but point out yet again that Dawkins himself did in fact entertain it when he talked about pan-spermia, maybe if you take Bertrand Russel's celestial teapot out of your posterior for a moment you'd be able to think a bit more clearly on it... but I'm not going to hold my breath.

If you read this thread properly, the skeptics began the shit-flinging, and increased their efforts when I simply pointed out that just because AA do a bad job, doesn't necessarily mean that its proof aliens couldn't have influenced our past somehow.
They are closed-minded themselves and trying to pretend that threads like these aren't bait, or that /x/ is just full of no-lifers simply because they have paranormal or supernatural experiences.

YES. The first American archeologists concluded that the Indians did not build Indians mounds and that they must have been built by the lost tribes of Israel. They wouldn't even give the Indians a few piles of dirt that lined up with the sunset.
