No that's just lazy psychiatrists who don't bother to learn the different signs of the different depressions. My therapist asked me a lot of seemingly unusual questions no other therapist ever asked me, pinpointed the exact type of depression I had and exactly what I needed to do to cure it, on his first attempt. And it only involved a single medication and then some basic dietary changes. We do know a lot about depressions we just don't have enough people who care to learn it.
