Alright /x/philes, who saw the blood moon this morning and has pics? I've been up since 6:00 and i could a little bit of the moon through some overcast but when the good stuff started happening cloud cover got bad. All i could see was a faint outline of the moon at 6:30 and then it vanished completely. I was so excited to see this but nature fucked me over.

I woke up at 6 just to see it. Saw it all the way until the moon vanished.
The sky got really cloudy about 10 minutes after it disappeared. It was awesome.

Sorry that you didn't get to see it for yourselves. Selenelions are a special occurrence, the sun coming up behind you while the eclipse is on the opposite horizon, and the stars are still shining bright in the sky... it's beautiful.
