give him rib cages protruding out of his body, or pincers growing out of his back, whatever you can come up with, like a free flow commission for the artist to imagine. He is pretty simplistic so it works well I imagine.

Wouldn't it basically kill the idea behind him? What makes green anon cool is how bland he is. Give him wings and suddenly he is some green demon, not a faceless everyman. His strength as a design is a fact that he is something that you could simply overlook in a crowd. Anything else would stick out like a sore thumb.

I would have incorporated the 'No Picture Available' over the face as something incomprehensible, disgusting, or otherworldly. Something like eyes, tentacles, fingers, claws, or a static-like effect covering the upper half of the face.
Revamping Anon is just going to make him seem more like a Slenderman knockoff. Anon is just a Joe Everyman, essentially, no need to give him super powers.
