Look again, the "doll" is a mouth, with sharp teeth, in the V shape of a snout. Right above it are two glowing eyes

I’ve always been fascinated with ghost stories and I make sure to ask everyone I know if they have experienced something.
I got two stories for you.
The first story happened to a girl I used to date for a short while and it kept me scared for quite some time.
I was studying photography for a year in a school out in the woods, this was just after I graduated from high school. Everyone in my class had heard the rumors about suicides in the dormatory and the haunted woods.
It’s something we heard from the class before us and it was our duty to pass it on to the next group.
The year passed quietly for me, we made some bad horror movies for fun and goofed around a lot.
One time we saw an old man standing outside our common room just looking at us. That was weird because there is no town nearby and nobody except staff lives out there.
After the year was done a girl in the new class wrote to me on Facebook, just asking for some general feedback on her photography. Long story short we hit it off and she wanted me to come and visit. So I did.
I was back out in the woods and it was great to talk to my old teacher and all that nostalgia (even though it’s only been a year). The day went fast and then we ended up in her dormroom.
As we lay in her bed I asked her if she believed in the ghost stories about the school.
She said she did and told me she had experienced something herself. In the very room we were in.

I'm doubting the authenticity of this; I live in Michigan and don't recall any news reports about a man being found in an abandoned building in that time frame.
I also checked news sources, and couldn't find any thing either. Something like that typically isn't going to go unreported.

It was about three months ago.
She was sleeping and woke up when she heard a sound. It was her shower that was running.
It was around 2 or 3 am so she just walked into her bathroom and turned it off. Probably thinking she was dreaming.
She stepped out of her bathroom and into her bedroom again.
In the middle of the room there was a child just standing there. It was almost pitch black but she saw that it was a small boy. Now she was terrified and who could blame her. It became worse when the boy stretched out his arms and started moving towards her, like he was going to hug her.
She screamed and leapt into her bed and covered herself under the sheets. She said she felt that someone sat down next to her on the bed. When morning came the boy was gone.
That same day her classmate(and next door neighbor) asked her why she was showering in the middle of the night.
Now granted she may have told this story just to scare me but when I asked the guy who used to live there when I was in that school he told me a similar story. But with just the shower running in the middle of the night.
And the class before that had the same experience. Somebody saw a ghost/whatever in there during the year.
Either I got epic trolled by 3 people or something was seriously wrong with that room.
English isn't my main language and I apologize for any errors. I have another story if someone would be interested and this one happened to me.
