Ok so awhile ago I took shrooms. A black hand came from under the bed touched my knee, then slid back umder as if motioning for me look. Two hours later the shrooms kicked in. Pic related where it came from.

im working on this comic, it's going slow but steady. it's based on some /x/philes i've met, stuff that has happened to me, etc. basically it's about a guy wanting to see something exciting, who fucks with things that shouldn't be fucked with

I came here looking for a "spooky places near you" thread, but this will have to do.
I live in Huntsville, AL. Aside from the cult that sacrifices small game in a creekbed, and a skinwalker story there's only one spooky thing in the immediate area: Maple Hill. Specifically the Maple Hill Cemetery. On the cemetery grounds, tucked away against some rocks in the back corner of the cemetery there's a playground, and its most likely haunted. Nothing harmful: just the ghosts of dead kids. Supposedly all the spooky stuff happens between 10:00PM and 3:00AM.
There's some story of how there was a string of child abductions/murders in the '60s, and that most of the bodies were found in the area, but I don't really buy it. My grandparents used to take me up there all the time. In the day its nothing remarkable, a swingset, a jungle gym, there used to be one of those things in the middle of pic related (had a ladder, a little bubble thing you could sit in, then the ladder went above the bubble so you could climb on top). There used to be a rickety ass slide too, but its gone also. I've seen people online saying that they've fallen asleep there overnight and woken up with bruises, but I don't think the spirits there mean any harm.
People have gone out there between ten and three and heard/seen the swings moving in unison. Bring them to a stop and they'll pick right back up again. Sometimes they'll loose their momentum and supposedly a little dust cloud kicks up in front of the swingset like a kid jumped off, but I've never seen that one firsthand. Other things people have reported are children's laughter and little balls of light only a couple feet of the ground appearing in pictures. I heard laughter once, but I've gone out there a couple times and never managed to get a ball of light.
Any /x/files have places like that in your hometown? Any experience with mine?

My niece wanted to start writing some pasta for fun. I made a deal with her that we both would write a story each. I picked her theme and she picked mine. I got creepy vidya with Sonic, I fuuuu:ed but it was fun.

I am in the process of creating my own urban legend here in my town, south gulf coast Texas is full of superstitious/republican/fundie nutjobs so if it can get attention. Tangent incoming. I'd probably be a lot better at writing if I actually listened in high school English. I stopped listening though because I hated writing. The education system is shit because they don't get kids excited for what they're learning. We never did creative writing, it was always essays and research papers, so everyone half-assed them. Though in classes that were engaging with funny/good teachers, I excelled.
