Tamayura. If you can connect with the characters you'll experience warm and fuzziness with every single episode. Watching Potte grow up and overcome her insecurities is like watching grow up the daughter that you'll never have.
Start with the original OVAs then move to the anime, after that watch the movies that are currently out, which are the culmination of the story.

Dr. Slump is comfy as fuck. You can watch it and really let yourself go.
This seems like a good place to ask. Does anyone know if/where there are bluray/HD subbed Aria the Animation and its sequals? I looked at the usual spots (Bakabt, Nyaa) but all I could find was shiity 480p rips.
Ore Monogatari is pretty comfy. Drama never gets above a simmer, it's pretty damn funny.
