My laptop has been having problems with staying connected to wifi lately and I haven't made any updates until it started bugging out. At one point my laptop wouldn't connect to my university wifi for about a day, no matter what I did, though it also affected my phone too. Currently, my home wifi is not playing well with my laptop. I've reset my router, and the wifi would work for an hour before disconnecting again. Then I tried updating my wireless drivers and the same thing happened. I can't imagine it's normal to have to keep resetting the router every hour. My phone uses it fine, but my laptop simply refuses to connect to it, though I tried logging in to someone else's wifi on my block and it connected. My girlfriend could also connect using her laptop.
Mine is a windows 10, however it's always been windows 10 and I am just now having this problem. I don't know what to do and I can't find any help through Google. I would really appreciate some help, thanks.
Sounds like a similar problem I'm having. I'm thinking of getting a new wireless adapter. Current one is a Tenda USB adapter and it routinely disconnects internet until I pull it out an set it in a different usb port. I do this like 5-10 times a day.

Try loading up a live usb of linux. Ubuntu or mint, (use unetbootin) then you can find out if its hardware or software related.
