This is true, they're both very bad.
Just watch the anime
colorful, but inevitably stretched along and only a few episodes are truly interesting. The rest is just acid-coloured filler.
Might have been worth its salt if a second season was confirmed since it had built towards the pair actually beating the game-world, but that looks to have been shelved.
