Shit. Im installing a new mobo ( GA-78LMT-USB3 ) but after plugging in the main power, I still have to plug in the pic related atx 12v. My power supply only has a 2x2 and 2x3 left, not sure of voltages. What do I do? Posting from phone, sorry about pic
Pic of the only other plugs left. Does this power supply not have enough power?? Dynex dx-400wps
Stick the 2x2 plug into the 2x4 socket on the mainboard.
It will fill half the socket, leaving the other half empty. This is okay.

Well, the mobo booklet says these four pins are 12v so fuck it, I'll give it a go. I just hope it's enough to power my hdd, ssd, gtx 750ti and cpu: Fx8350.
Thanks anon

>This is okay unless your core logic draws more than 150w, in which case the wire will melt.

I'm only tech savvy enough to order compatible parts and build it. How would I check this? I listed my cpu above earlier.
Also, it has turned on! So far so good. But Planetside 2 on ultra will test for burning wires

I'd use eight wires if I were you.
