Just upgraded my rig with a Intel i7-6700K, Asus ROG Maximus VIII Ranger and 2x8GB G.Skill RipJaws DDR4-3400.
Before I had a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T and some 4x4GB corsair DDR3-1333.
Now since I upgraded, my whole pc stutters, meaning, mouse movement is influenced, the sound is scratchy...
I already found out that it happens as soon as one of my cores goes over about 70%, in the picture I downloaded a game using steam, which made CPU2 go to 100% until it was done downloading.
Does anyone know what actually causes this and how to get rid of it?
I so far only really played a little Arma and didn't notice any unusual (for arma) lagging or stuttering.

Drivers?

I installed them right off the CD that came with the motherboard.

Disgusting, CD drivers are almost never up to date. I reccomend iobit drive updater. Just uninstall it after you're done.

Alright gonna do that now.

Ok I updated all drivers, at a glance it seems to have fixed the problem, thanks.

You do realize you could have gotten an Intel 6-core system for a similar price, right?
