Yes. Ssd makes your system significantly faster. It won't make it as fast as a supercomputer bit the responsiveness is much better. It removea the hdd slowdown which is severe. Watch how much faster copying and pasting is for proof.

Getting sata ssd is the best thing you can do for your bucks atm
M2 is imo not worth the extra
