How would one go about evaluating the limit of pic related?

The exponents are the same so the solution should be -sqrt(x)/sqrt(x) = -1

But the 6's cannot cancel, correct? So what happens to the 6's?

As x tends towards infinity, sqrt(x) gets very, VERY large. Infinitely large, in fact. Adding a constant (like 6) to an infinitely large number really makes no difference in the result, so in the case of this limit, the 6s can be ignored.

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you guys/gals.
